Onslow Day 2

Today we got up and made breakfast in the morning. Then we waited for a bit. After that we packed the car and drove to 4 Mile Creek. We took our fishing gear and walked out to the river mouth. There we set up our rods and started fishing. I felt a couple of nibbles but didn't strike. Then I moved to a different spot. I felt some little hits and struck. The fish made an effort swim away but it was only small. I reeled in a small 17 cm Yellowfin Bream. Then I released it and continued fishing. Mum hooked a small 20 cm Bream but it had swallowed the hook and Dad had to remove it.

After that I caught another Bream and Mum caught another Bream. Then my sister hooked a Bream and we released it as well. While I was trying to get rid of some Squid I felt some soft hits. After letting the fish play for a while I struck. The fish didn't even fight as hard as the Bream even though it was bigger. I pulled up a lovely fish from the butterfly fish family. Even though I didn't know what it was I saw that it was from the Butterfly fish family.

We were going to take a photo of the fish but my sister told me to dangle the fish in the water so it could breath. As soon as the fish was in the water it spat the hook and swam off. I wasn't happy with that fish. After that we went back to the car and drove to where we were nought fishing yesterday. I dropped my line down as soon as we arrived and felt some nibbles on my line. I struck and reeled up a small juvenile Moses Perch. After that I caught about 5 more of them before we had tome for a boat to dock. Then we drove back to the caravan and had lunch.

After lunch Dad and I went fishing again. This time we went from the rock wall where one guy caught a decent sized School Mackerel the other day. We didn't catch anything and after 3 hours we drove back to the caravan. When we arrived we packed up the awning and the fishing rods. Then we went and had a shower. After a nice warm shower we returned to the caravan and started writing our blogs. We were interrupted by dinner. For dinner we had some sort of chicken stuff. After dinner I finished writing the blog. Then we had dessert. For dessert we had some some Strawberries and Chocolate. After that I went to bed.

Ho preso un sacco di pesci.
