Today we woke up in the morning and had breakfast. After that we packed up the caravan and drove out of the station. We traveled for 300 km to Port Smith Lagoon caravan park. When we arrived we set up. The ground was so hard that I had to get Dad to hammer in 2 of the pegs. After that we sat down and had a cool drink. Then I had some lunch.
After lunch we had some dessert. Then Dad and I went into the office and got the good oil on the fishing spots. After that we drove down to the boat launching place. My immediate impression was that we had entered a clearing in a mangrove forest. It was very interesting down there and we saw the launching ramp. The space in the mangroves where they launched the boats was about 3 metres wide. It was great fun to watch the boats being pulled out of the water. There were some guys who had caught a 24 pound Estuary Cod. It was pretty heavy.
I got some really good photos of the sunset. I also found a mullet that had been left behind by the tide. Then we drove back to the caravan and I started writing the blog. After a bit we had dinner. Dinner was Nachos with some other stuff. After dinner we had dessert. For dessert we had some pineapple chunks. After dessert I finished writing my blog. Then I did some other stuff. Then I went to bed.
